Understanding and Supporting Behaviour in Neurodivergent Children

Online Event with Ciara from Autism Supports for Canavan Byrne

7th February 2026   10am - 1pm

Unlock deeper understanding and practical strategies to support behaviour in neurodivergent children.

Behaviour is communication and for neurodivergent children it can look different to what we might expect, especially when the underlying needs aren’t immediately clear.

In this supportive and interactive online course, Ciara will help you make sense of why behaviours happen and show you how to respond with confidence and compassion. You’ll explore the functions of behaviour, gain insight into how neurodivergent brains think and respond, leaving with practical, evidence informed strategies, including the use of visual supports you can put into practice immediately.

Designed for early years educators, school age care providers and professionals working with neurodivergent children, this course equips you with the understanding and tools to reduce stress and support development in every child you work with.
